The sudden increase of the Internet and e-business is recent years predicts that more data will be generated in the next three years than in all of recorded history. The businesses are facing challenges with the wide use of technology in this field. Applications (Databaes, content management systems, search engines, message queues) are being used broadly.  Technology is both a cost of doing business, and an opportunity to do more business. Most people I talk with recognize the necessity of having a computer, an email address, and a website, but still look at the upfront cost more than other issues.

I think it’s time to take a step back and look at the big picture of technology in business.
